“সমাজবিজ্ঞানকে ইসলামীকরনের”(Islamizing of social sciences) জন্য যে সকল মহান মুসলিম সমাজ বিজ্ঞানী অবদান রেখেছেন তাদের মধ্যে অন্যতম হলেন “প্রফেসর ইব্রাহীম আল-রাগেব”। আজ আমরা তার সাথে পরিচিত হব।
তার জন্ম ১৯৩৭ সালের ১৯শে জুলাই, মিশরে।
শিক্ষা:
প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা শেষে তিনি ১৯৬৩ সালে মিশরের কায়রতে অবস্থিত “The Cairo School of Social Work” থেকে “সমাজ কর্ম” বিষয়ে বি. এ. পাশ করেন এবং ১৯৬৫ সালে গ্রাজুয়েট ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেন।
১৯৭২ সালে তিনি কায়রোতে অবস্থিত “Helwan University” থেকে “সমাজ কর্ম” ( Social Work : Community Organization) বিভাগ থেকে এম. এ. ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেন।
১৯৮০ সালে তিনি যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের “Western Reserve University” থেকে “সমাজ কল্যান”(Social Welfare : Social Policy, Social Planning and Program Development) বিষয়ে পি. এইচ. ডি. ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেন।
